Welcome to my handbook!
I wrote my handbook to give my to give a complete overview of my program. I wanted to improve my parent/provider relationship and assure the families using my service would not encounter any surprises or misunderstandings in our relationship
When a new family is interested in my program I want them to know exactly what my program is. I provide them with a pocket folder with clasps down the center that contains all the information I have on my program. In the front pocket I put my brochure, the food program brochure, a letter that introduces them to the whole packet, references, and a copy of my most current newsletter. Clasped in the center is my handbook. And in the back pocket are all the forms that I need my families need fill out in order to participate in my daycare service.

I took some of the wording from Step-by-Step Childcare's Handbook because I found this handbook to be very well worded and extremely thorough.
